voltage and capacitor

have your battery put on a load tester (most auto parts stores will do it for free)... doing the big 3 will almost certainly fix your issue tho, as i dont see it being your battery... just have to remember, that no matter what gauge wire you run back to your amp, your stock wiring that the big 3 replaces is very small, at best... sometimes its down right rediculous... but then again, cars arent designed from the factory to be pushing that much current... which is why the big 3 is so important

 
The regulator is keeping ur voltage at 13.5. Not much you can do, unless you want to change alternators to one that is regulated higher.

Depending on your car you may need to bypass the factory regulator and add an outboard one. I needed to with my Jeep. Factory "brain" only charges to mid 13V range.

 
Certain tones in music change the ohm load the box sees. From what I have experianced larger boxes rise more then small. Maybe one of the savy guys on here can explain it better. i just know it happens but I dont know why
