I am who you think I am
I wanted to go ahead and present this publicly now for those that do and do not compete.

Vadim Cheremukhin, founder of LOUD Games(copyrighted) has gave me the rights in cooperation with SPL-Lab(Official metering company) to present LOUD Games to the USA near the end of October or early November.

It's the best car audio format I have ever read about...

The TRUE way to measure an audio system's true performance....

The problem with competitions nowadays is spectators do not understand what they are watching... All they know is one note wonders here and there...

This new format, specially engineered pressure sensor built by SPL-Lab specifically for this format, allows the ability to measure the sound pressure of the ENTIRE range from 20hz-20khz in 30sec averages.

The special algorithm locates and averages peaks over many ranges between 20hz-20khz and averages them every second for 30seconds straight.

Averaging close to 300 peaks per run, this gives you your actual average based score of what your setup can do as a whole.

But do not worry

For long term competitors who only want to do SPL and SQ who do not care about being able to impress the audience of a full range loud stereo system(also known as their daily driver), LOUD Games will also have SQ and SPL formats as well.

I have been advised these formats are NOTHING like DbDrag or IASCA.

The creator is re-inventing the wheel on EVERYTHING!

In 1-2months from now, we, SPL-Lab USA, will be presenting this format with rulebook in full to the ENTIRE USA car audio community we can possibly find!

Once all communities of car audio have discussed what the final rule book should be for the USA, it will be documented and made official.

It will be then that the USA will be able to host LOUD Games!

If you want to be a part of something special, THIS is the format you want to be in!

We, us members, all of us, will write the official rulebook for this new league for the USA.

A new thread will be created once the time comes for discussion!

So basically u find a song that just plays loud as hell? Or go active and play test tones within those frequencies? ( 40 sub, 200 midbass, 2k midrange, and 17k tweets?) not degrading this some ppl may enjoy it but most ppl only care about sub power and lack major mids and up.. I think something that would be fun would be clamping actual power and measuring your spl and have a formula in which u can ratio the powers. Like a 1k power system can beat a 5k if it's installed better than the other person.. Make it where it's more install than who can drop more money into their ride and play a note.

hehe, the rulebook is divided into 3 sections...

The first of 3 rulebooks is already over 14MB of just text...

When all the rulebooks are completed, a new thread will be posted and we all will discuss everything one thing at a time.

There is a LOT of information.

IT's different, very different. From the ground up...

Glad to see its local to me too, maybe I can get some first hand experience when this gets going. I assume you'll have a nice little league around Louisville, I know there's quite a few people that compete around here.

I am NOT hosting this league!

I have way too much other business to attend..

I am helping this league get into USA via translations and whatever else that needs to happen.

The entire USA is open to host the league, we just need to set the foundation for such people to do so.

There is no royalty fees or anything that need to be paid so no worries!

Whoever wants to run the show, run it.

LOUD Games league is VERY popular in Russia..

I try to attend many shows regardless of sanction so I may pop in and out of many of these shows to provide feedback later in the future and help customers with testing their own equipment offsite via pressure meters and so on...

If it get's big, I'm sure we'll have one in louisville.

BassBallin.com
BassBallin is a upcoming National organization already... SHows have been going since early this year. And has a huge support group growing and growing.
I glanced over their rules...

It's still using a basic way to "attempt" to measure the average SPL of a vehicle when playing music but there are problems with the method used....

As their are problems with the method used in all leagues...

Meter location is at windshield, nobody drives with their head at the windshield..

In LOUD Games and in MECA, meter location uses "Reality SPL" where the meter is head level.

It looks like all Bassballin is very relaxed classes with just an averaging spl format.
