Voltage @ 10.8-1.5 at full tilt, will a 2nd battery help?

Ive got this new amp in my setup (soundstream pca2000d) running it at 1 ohm so its pulling a decent ammount of power, Ive also got about 500rms in midrange amps

Right now my electrical is a simple stock 110amp alt, big 3 in 4 gauge (added onto factory 4 gauge), and 0 gauge power/ground and a optima battery under the hood.

I really dont want to spend the $600 for a H/o alt on my car, so I was wonderring if maybe another underhood battery would suffice..... I wanna keep it under the hood since I have room when I removed my airbox, but I probably cant get a HUGE battery, but a regular size battery would fit.

I dont listen to many songs on full tilt, only a few songs that bang, but when I do crank them my voltage HAS dipped into the high 10's when the rpms are low

Will a 2nd battery do anything for me? Suggestions?

I really didnt understand that post

You mean a 2nd battery WONT help my low volt problems? I only run the stereo when the cars on if it matters at all.

Ive just ruined an expensive amp before by dipping in the low voltage, so Id like to keep it in the high 11's at a minimum

 
add a second battery and upgrade that 4 guage to 1/0 for the big 3 will help some as well.

Pick up one of those stinger spv70s on here hes selling. I am running a 1000cca gold duralast battery(not that great) upfront. with a stinger spv70 in the back. With a run of 1/0 pos and run of 1/0 neg to the back battery with the big 3 done in 1/0 and a stock 130amp alt. i am running a zx1500.1 and zx850.4 only drops to around 12.5 at idle full tilt

 
I really think my big 3 is fine, factory wiring was fat and I added 4 gauge to it, so I think Im fine there.

Curious why the guy that posted before you said a 2nd battery wouldnt help me at all.....
