more reasons to do learn and do your own installs. Very nice equipment though.

Like said before, invest in a DMM so you can set your gains. Also upgrade your speaker wire. 16 awg is a bit small.

get that pollyfill out of there...its doing more harm than good.

I would have to agree.... It actually look likes it has been moved by the drivers which is not a good thing.....

tomorrow ill buy a voltmeter from wal mart and set the gains....

what cd am i supposed to you for these gains again? i usually play music on my ipod...

so itll probably get louder without that mat/polyfil? hopefully

and setting gains.... just to clarify

put HU on max settings...then turn up gains till subs stress then turn backwards 1/8...but what about the other 3 knobs?

Oh wow dude maybe you should do a little bit more reading and get a better understanding of stuff before you go tweeking your amp.......

Does not make a difference.... At all.... Are you running a conversion box off of the rear speakers or how is signal getting to your amp?

at LEAST get this one:

it will become your best friend once you actually start installing your own stuff.

i've found this image to be helpful:

FYI, your amp should output 31.6V to provide 2000W at 0.5ohms

you can also use the multimeter to check that the amps are wired correctly.

it won't read exactly 0.5 ohms, but should be close (and less than 1)
