more reasons to do learn and do your own installs. Very nice equipment though.

Like said before, invest in a DMM so you can set your gains. Also upgrade your speaker wire. 16 awg is a bit small.

tomorrow ill buy a voltmeter from wal mart and set the gains....

what cd am i supposed to you for these gains again? i usually play music on my ipod...

so itll probably get louder without that mat/polyfil? hopefully

and setting gains.... just to clarify

put HU on max settings...then turn up gains till subs stress then turn backwards 1/8...but what about the other 3 knobs?

Oh wow dude maybe you should do a little bit more reading and get a better understanding of stuff before you go tweeking your amp.......

 
lol i dont know anything about setting gains and i was gonna inquire on here first.

money is still tight and snoop said a 20$ wal mart will be fine
at LEAST get this one:

it will become your best friend once you actually start installing your own stuff.

FYI, your amp should output 31.6V to provide 2000W at 0.5ohms

you can also use the multimeter to check that the amps are wired correctly.

it won't read exactly 0.5 ohms, but should be close (and less than 1)
