What number are you hitting. With that power and those subs/port set up like that you should be in the upper echelon of the 140's.

i hit 141.9 in Streetbeat 2 with my stock HU....

i know it should be higher but then i had trunk car also

maybe it is glue i dont know i guess ill have to wait and find out

and yes a shop did the install

but there is a panel on the back of the box (because the box faces inside) and i think its glued down and i didnt wanna take that off.

so does this mean i should wang on em extra hard to melt the rest of that glue or still take it easy?

take one of the subs out and look at the coils

The mags are fine...I promise. If the amp is set correcty, and box was built correctly. The mags will be fine off of that ammount of power. Now everyone is right...they dont seem to be moving as much as they are suposed to, Go beat on them..the mags are stong subs, they will be fine.

hmmm...I would upgrade the speaker wire...12 gauge should do fine.

how would the mags look wired to .5ohm? series parallel?

i see the wires negative to negative positive to positive then the wire goes straight to a hole in the box and goes out to the amp and from that same hole goes a similar wire to the other sub which i havent taken out....

good or bad thing?

it's either 0.5, 2, or 8 ohms. so you shouldn't be able to overpower them.
