very bad voltage drop on 1k rms

That is what I meant. I was told that they must be of the same chemical make up.
Here is a quote

"No, when hooking batteries together in parallel they should be of identical make, model and of similar age."

no. but i am not LOL

Again thats just not tru they dnt have to be the same size nor do they have to be the same brand thats just a company line they use to get u to buy from them. I run a sprinter and a kinetic both different brands both different sizes guess what not a single issue as long as they are the same tech and have a restin voltage close to each other then you will be fine.

I agree. I am just talking about the wiring a lead acid to an agm. I heard that it is a no, no. ANd wonder if that is this guys problem.

i run an autolite up front, an optima and a kinetic in the rear. now an autolite up front and a d3100 in the back but same concept
I am just saying what I have been told. I was told it can cause the batteries not to charge the same, or one too over charge. and if an AGM over charges and the water burns up. Then the battery is bad.

yeah me too one 0g run would have been more than fine with only 1k, hell 1 4g run would have worked[/quotei was running 2 db drive pd2000.1s that had dual 4 gauge inputs so i ran 4 4gauge wires. true 4 gauge cadence wires .

after the amps became defective i installed my old amp a alpine pdx 1.1000

yeah something really wrong running a saz 3000d and fosgate 400.2 off stock 105 alt. big 3 and kinetik 1800 with now voltage drop below 13.5 and ur getting this off 1000 watt amp
Are you getting that voltage drop at idle?

I have a stock alt, big 3 with 1/0, 1/0 run to C&D 134ah in trunk, duralast gold under hood (lead acid :S), and a SAZ 3k running at .67.. Im getting 14.0 - 13.2 voltage drop while driving, and down to 12.2v while idling... my alt doesnt make crap for power at idle. If I rev it up a bit its much better.

Im replacing the duralast under my hood with a smaller C&D soon. Will probably help.
