just pulled out the headliner and filled the braces with expanding foam. i will also be filling the sliding door

with expanding foam. i need to find a way to keep the front doors from ripping apart since i cant foam them

and still have the windows move. i will also be adding a stripper 2x2 steel stripper pole for the windsheild after

everything is done so it doesnt get in the way

it should be a very fun build but its also going to be a tuff build... even going with budget equipment this build is still going to cost a chunk of cash

Lot of used HO alts for sale in the classifieds and just about any 1-wire alt could be made to fit that SM Chevy, GLWB.

ah gotcha.. im actually trying to find a dual alt bracket for a dodge 318 to fit on here dual 300s would help so much...

but that will wait until everything is in and running. 0g from my alts to my batts is under 4ft long since my batteries and amps will be in a center console more than likely

With that power, a single alt is fine.

i also thought the same thing but i am currently saving for alot more power so when that time comes i will be ready to just drop in amps and new subs and make this thing a 59.9 racer

Even then, with the right battery bank, you will be fine with a single alt.

thanks... hopefully this doesnt turn out to be a waste of wood.... the amps and subs can all be used again its just going to cost me 300 in wood to mess it up
