Using All-thread as bracing?

So i'm literally sitting in my garage and waiting for a response on this...

How do you use all-thread as bracing? Just make the hole slightly smaller (it's 3/8") and then thread it though with nuts and washers on the inside and outside?

Get me a quick response and I might even make a build log by the end of the week //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

correct, drill the hole large enough for the allthread to barely fit through, run a washer and nut up on the inside and outside, seal it with some silicone and you are good to go. Might use some loctite

for a cleaner look use a carriage bolt on the visible side and join with a coupling. you can even set in in and fill over and wont even see it after paint/carpet. to use 2 carriage bolts you need a reverse thread one and a turnbuckle with jam nuts.

Didn't know if you literally threaded it through or something of the like.
I'm really starting to think your mom doesn't love you.
You're a cool guy! I see what you did there! Yo-- haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Oh, wait. That has no bearing on the fact that I think dumb questions should be asked.

Stupid questions deserve stupid answers.
How else are you supposed to do it? With hopes and dreams?
