using a capcitor does help..........

The minuscule point I was trying to make was the cap can be charged with out an alternator, a battery can't. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif Godly amount of energy ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gifWB
Actually, you are sorely wrong my friend.

hahahahahahahahahahaha u must have used ur superhuman physics/electrical engineering knowledge to come up with ^ that one didnt u wb?

once again, i want to know just how exactly u came up with this. i guess u must have made urself a solar powered cap. get it patented, and i'll buy 50 of them from u, to run my electrical in my truck. ur a **** genius.

ps i am still waiting for my amp

ummm what do you think the cap is charging off of... the battery... which is charged off the alt. So if you take out the alt, the cap will just drain the battery and then both will be out. You really are an idiot.
I understand eventually the cap will drain after the battery drains but again ! the minuscule point is, the cap is way less dependent on the alternator than a row of 2-5 batteries for better current draw. Stop trying to make yourself think a cap is a battery. It isn't designed to be a battery, only a voltage storage can, if you will.

... you think the cap recharges on it's own...?

You are stupid as hell.. a battery is far more efficient and will hold far more energy than any cap will ever hold. And if you take the alt out of the equation, you are going to run out of energy just as fast with a cap as you will with no cap. You are a moron if you think a cap drains less fast than a battery. It's very simple. The amp is going to pull say 50 amps, regardless of if there is or isn't an alt.

I don't see how you think a cap is less dependent on an alt than a battery bank is. Actually, I do, you are a moron and you think that because the cap is draining the battery it is less dependent on the alt. Well the battery depends on the alt, so if the cap depends on the battery, which let me remind you, runs on the alt, then the cap still depends on the alt.

Which is easier to charge ? a battery ? or a capacitor ?

How do you charge the capacitor ? How do you charge the battery ? give me step by step detail. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/censored.gif.f9ad8e7c6db58c5530c5a0a20a3b5baf.gif

Can you charge your car battery with out an alternator or charger ? Can a cap be charged with out an alternator or charger ? So which depends on an alternator the most ?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/popcorn.gif.32dd9e22fd77e77bc3c907062768fcd2.gif

I just told you... and they are both going to be the same to charge you moron. The ability of it to charge has nothing to do with if it is a cap or a battery, but rather how many amps or "farads" your battery or cap is.

Once again... a battery is charged from an alternator.

A cap is charged from a battery... but wait go back and read what the battery is charged off of.

Oh yeah, the alternator... so let's do some deductive reasoning.

The cap charges off the battery which charges off the alt, so in essence the cap charges off the battery.

If caps are so great you should do this. Buy another cap, and take out your battery completely. Run one cap for your amp, and use the other for your car electrical (lights, etc.)... no tell me what is the cap charging off of?

You are seriously stupid. You expect people to think you studied electrical engineering? Tell me, go take the alt out of your car and neither you battery nor your cap will charge. Both depend on the alternator. Take the battery out of the equation and run your cap straight from the alternator. Now do you understand what the cap is charged on?

Let me tell you ONE more time... a cap runs through the battery, which runs through the alt, so without the alt, neither will charge. Do you get that now?
