used box

I got a used sealed box from my neighbor. it had some leaksin it, but i put liquid nails silicon stuff on the outside of the seems. i will add some resin to the inside and hopefully beable to use that. the box is 1.00ft^3 and my subs manual say they require 1.25ft^3, will the subs be ok if i add poly fill to the box?
