Ups Can F*ckin **** My C*ck!!!!!

there is a posting at the mailboxes etc for fedex that says it should withstand a 6' drop. And after seeing some of the sorting facilities it appears that coming off that conveyor belt is close to a 6' drop

If you cant' find it, let me know. I will get the ISO standard out on that. I know fedex uses the same. It may say "should" withstand a 6' drop but that makes no sense because then why even have fragile stickers on packages?

Also, we ship 3,000-200,000 dollar items in boxes and weights VERY similiar to subs and we don't have a standard like that. Of course, we package better :p

FedEx has a bigger chance of someone playing football with your package because they pay employees shit. Get insurance, bottom line. Some of our conveyor belts run 20 feet in the air, but they are gaurded so there is no chance of stuff fall off.

I've seen two major hubs, UPS and Fed Ex in TN, both have belts all over, and basically, all boxes are serverly abused, by both carriers....seen it happen personally...crazy!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

It is my understanding that the drivers are self employed in a sense and they stand to be more accountable for a package as opposed to ups where the driver gets paid an hourly wage

I worked at a UPS hub (Cerritos CA) for a year. Many of the belts are 20-30 ft high. I saw the belts so overloaded with packages that boxes were pouring over the 5 ft high side walls. The area below the belts was roped off so nobody would get killed by falling packages.

Insure everything you ship.
