UPS and BTLs dont mix

Yeah even if you do insure it, you wont get any money from them. If they find that its YOUR packaging's fault, they will deny the claim. The only sure fire way they told me is to have a UPS store actually package it for you.

Bullshit...did you read my post. I made money S-A, and it was my/RDs packaging. Which wasn't great, but it was secure enough to prevent damage had it not been dropped God knows how many times.

shit someone better go throw some more packaging in that box and make it look secure before UPS comes and picks it up to take it to the claim center //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif lol

That was my sub I received. With a motor that heavy and not being tightly secured it is bound to shift and rub thru on any side it’s sitting on. I not rally upset over the situation just bumed the motor didnt make it here in 1 piece.. Astly was a good guy and advised he will refund the money I paid for the motor and he will finish up the claim with ups. Which in my eyes is a great seller. The claim is for $400 because I don’t think you can buy just a motor from FI? Or can you? Astyl you advised me to keep it at $400 for the claim. Did you want me to change it to a different amount when I notify UPS you will be the new contact person??
The BTL owned the bubble wrap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That packaging was shitty. This was bound to fail from the beginning. Don't blame UPS for your poor packaging. You will complain if the shit doesn't get there in a speedy time yet you want them to gently place your shit on and off trucks from NH to Cali? Stuff does happen don't get me wrong, but I have sent all kinds of stuff through UPS and it always makes it to the recipient in one piece. It's all in the packaging. The buyer pays you for that service, not that shit I see in the pic. I understand if you do not have access to decent packaging, but you shouldn't sell if you have can't pack a box good enough to survive a 6-7 day trip.

When you pack something up, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS should be able to survive a 6-8 foot drop. That shit looks like you just threw it in a box with some bubble wrap and news paper.

x2, but 6-8 foot drop seems a little excessive lol

heavier packages only piss off the delivery truck loaders...would you rather lift something that weighs 10-25lbs or something that weighs 50-75lbs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif when your loading a truck all day at min wage....knowing the driver is making $30+ an hour...

What i meant is that if they feel your packaging wasn't adequate. Which can be a 50/50 chance depending on who looks at it. But if they package it, your deff covered.

x3.. how bout a 10ft drop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
lol, just picture a btl falling 10 feet on to a slab of concrete. You best have that sucker in a wood crate to protect it, or else //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Anything less and....well...I dont think we need to go there.
