UPS and BTLs dont mix

what you guys do for amps? when i bought my hifonics amp(off ebay) but was original packaging i think, becuase it said maxxsonics all over it. all it was was 3 cardboard boxes in each other. no Styrofoam or anything to protect the amp other than the cardboard.

True, but it works.

Alot of times it ends up killing off buyersSay something is 100 + Shipping, so you go to the UPS price quote and shipping will be 25 dollers, well instead of charging the buyer 125 you have to now charge him 140+ because you have to factor in the 15+ dollers of packaging materials your going to buy out of pocket to ship the item with, alot of people dont like overly high shipped quotes and that kills off buyers even though its in there best interest
Most of the time I ship stuff Ive got the stuff needed for packaging layin around. If not, you can get a foam noodle and some bubble wrap for **** cheap. Even if you need some wood for something serious, your looking at $15 TOPS for packaging materials the way I look at it.

I'd rather kill a sale having it done right that risk dealing with UPS claims department trying to save a few bucks. Plus if you gave them a weight of the box, they could go to ups.com and check the price themselves.
