I specifically told them to package it well, i followed up a day or so later asking and they said they packaged it to hell, this was the shipping department and i made the shipping manager himself do it so you think theyd know how to package shitNo worries i am not blaiming you for the pack job. Shiet happens. Unless you have never shipped a sub they probably really did think it was packed well. Its important that the motor can not move or shift or else... You get a damaged motor..
Yeah i feel you. I always use foam swimming noodles if i dont have a factory box for subs. Subs are so awkward to ship cause they are heavy and their weight is not uniform.I specifically told them to package it well, i followed up a day or so later asking and they said they packaged it to hell, this was the shipping department and i made the shipping manager himself do it so you think theyd know how to package shit
I wish that were true my friend. You HAVE to put extra insurance on the package if you want to cover the value of the product. If something is damaged during shipping and is irreplaceable, UPS will give you the FULL insurance amount that you paid for on it. The $100 is a default value you automatically get.If UPS is like fedex there really isnt "insurance." You just have to file a claim. That’s why on fedex shipments they ask for a value amount I think, so in the even of a claim they have an idea of how much the claim should be worth. I would think UPS work in the same fashion.
That very good to know bro!!! FEDEX SUCKS then!! LOL!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifI wish that were true my friend. Czech this out...when I got my 2, 10" Alphas in, UPS managed to fvck up one of the motors on one of the subs (shifted). The other sub was fine, but UPS paid me the full amount of insurance I put on the whole package. I made $300 off the claim //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
oh its replaceable alright, have them order up a brand new fully loaded BTL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifI wish that were true my friend. i gotta say.. for the weight of the BTL's.. they don't package their subs very well at all...just a box with some foam pads to hold it in place...still seems like they could wobble around pretty good if not handled properly...no bubble wrap, no plastic air bags...nothin!@
well let me show you a picture of how they sent mine....FYI THat's not Fi's packaging. I have seen the way they are packaged from FI. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
