Its just too bad when things like this happen man. Unfortunate, but just sucks, I hate seeing these threads.

that is some of the worst packaging man. i wonder if 528hz has any pics of how i shipped his XXX motor.
I was actually going to post about that man. The ONLY one on this forum that knows how to ship a sub is fbi.

Let me see what I can't find for prime example.

EDIT: I can't find any pics of it, but coincidentally....I shipped that box with all the foam to ssackett with the XXX LOL!

I think i do a pretty good job myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For a smaller motor that doesnt weight ~70lbs, their packaging is up to my standards for anything else I have gotten from them.
I think they do a good job, not to mention they offer free shipping.
i guess as long as it works.. but by looks (which I guess doesnt matter) it doesnt look to solid

Didn't mean it literally bro'hem!
Hey, didn't I send you the XXX in that box with all the blue and yellow rolls of foam?
yes that pack job was horrible!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Alot of times it ends up killing off buyersSay something is 100 + Shipping, so you go to the UPS price quote and shipping will be 25 dollers, well instead of charging the buyer 125 you have to now charge him 140+ because you have to factor in the 15+ dollers of packaging materials your going to buy out of pocket to ship the item with, alot of people dont like overly high shipped quotes and that kills off buyers even though its in there best interest

I'd rather kill a sale having it done right that risk dealing with UPS claims department trying to save a few bucks. Plus if you gave them a weight of the box, they could go to ups.com and check the price themselves.

price of an online quote is not the same as an instore quote. online they give you a rough estimate with weight. instore they go by weight and dimensions of the package which can bring the price up.
