Up in the air about which ride to get?

well, i meant it in the nicest way. i meant that if you have your money set you can manage the car, kids, and a new pad without any issues. it was a compliment man, i know i hardly gives those...

have you looked at the mazda cx-7? seen a few 2007 and 2008's with decent mileage for $14-16K. not a bad deal and roomy, but you sacrifice MPG

Sorry you took it as me getting defensive, but I was just explaining and with our past history, never know what shot you are taking. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Thanks though.

I am actually thinking if we get a good amount of tax money back taking that and putting a good chunk down on a nice pre-certified SUV or van for my wife and me keeping my Focus ST. I would really hate to get rid of my ride and take on her car as it has a ton of miles on it. I have so much left to pay on mine and will be done with it.

Found a couple nice Durangos, Exploders and Trailblazers for 10k and under with 50k miles and under.

I figure trade her car in and probably only get 1500 and drop a good 3k (Depending on taxes) down on it and have right around 4500-5000 off the price and financing around 5-6 for around 3 years. Should be 150-200 bucks with her interest rate, which won't be that good considering.

I will check into that Mazda Quest. Forgot about those ones, but not sure if they come in triple row seating or not. I will find out.

not sure about triple row, but the ones we were looking at the last few weeks have been pretty nice. i am going on the 4th month me and the lady are still looking for cars, suvs, etc...

she doesnt know what she wants and like me we will be putting a shitload down. she is pretty frugal and is looking to keep the car 7-10 years like her grand am. she has had the dang car for 8 years and since she makes $60k+ a year now i think she needs an upgrade.

she just wants a sunroof...no nav, no leather, no huge wheels, or big engine, she just wants a sunroof on it.

edit: its the cx-9 with a third row, but not too many used ones around

Lol, my wife wants a sunroof as well. I am like is it really needed? She tells me yes!

its no biggie, but we have passed up on a few great deals because she wants a sunroof. we had a deal on a used 2008 Altima with 15k miles for $16.3k out the door. she backed out of that too.

well, i couldnt ask for anyone better in my life. she makes **** ton more than i do and works less than i and she still shops at discount stores, dollar stores, and bought me a ps3 for xmas.

she originally wanted a new camaro and could afford it, but its a buyers market and her 800 credit score as well as my cash can go a long way. we did find a used 2008 Maxima that is fully loaded with 14k miles for $25k and i think we can haggle down to 21 or 22k.

we just want to keep our options open. i also like those new malibu ltz

Mazda Cx-9 has a 3rd row, my brother has a CX-7 an it's pretty good. I like our Mitsubishi Outlander better though...

I'd suggest an Outlander as well, has a 3rd row but it's meant more for those "holy ****, I need one more seat to carry everyone across town" situations.

definatly not a kia.....worst POS ever created

chevy is giving away trailblazers fyi.......my buddy just got one loaded 4 10Gs off sticker

pathfinder is the best of the list but more spendy and youll only see a little money off sticker

but I would work nissian over first then see what happens

Things keep going like it has been for them, they won't have to worry about warranty costs. That's why

chevy are pretty good these days quality wise

my silverado has over 100K miles and has never needed a single repair

other than normal maintnence, nissan will be the same way...

Dodge ,Kia,Mazda will not fair as well......but you can get lucky

the Vortec V8 (specially the 5.7liter) is practically bulletproof, just change the oil. I hear the Inline 6 that the trailblazer comes with is also a great engine

Jesus, what is that 3rd seat in the outlander? Does it come out and can you carry it like a purse, because it looks like you could!

Quest, I may be considered half mexican with my mother in law married to one, lol! Now he has quite a few kids............they all live over there though.

Out of all the reviews I have read thus far, honestly, the new Dodge seems to get the best reviews for the least amount of problems with them. I have yet to read any on the mazada cx-9 though.

Like I said, we have a couple months and will weigh our options.

Nissan and Toyota are probably out being I can't find one with low mileage for the price point I am looking at now.
