Unplugged sub, now sub + door speakers don't work

pfffft, honey badgers are where its at for the fat mids yo!
I kinda had to ghetto rig some **** (electric tape yo) but it's all I had on hand and I just don't care right now. It's hot. If anything goes out again I know how to fix it. Basically I shorted the sub which fried the door speakers. Note to self: make sure car is off when removing wires from sub (I swear it was but I was in a rush and running in and out of the house to go camping, **** happens).

Well the sub might still be bad or might have blown... everything inside looks fine but no dice with the multimeter. Gonna try to plug it into alternate source and see if it works otherwise I think it might have actually got blown up with the short.

*bolded because it's a bit of an update. Might need help.

I plugged it in directly to the sub wires and it's reading infinite blinking ohms and ~8-24 volts... but no sound. Odd. I've already found the sub wires to be good via test speaker. Is the sub dead?

IDK what the hell a custom baffle board is but I came into some money the military owed me in 2014 and bought my Subaru BRZ and had the speakers put in for about 3000. I would have done it myself but I was working a **** ton of hours at the time. I bought some Focal "silver" box or something for a good price and the amp/head/sub were another part of another deal they had going on so most the $ was labor/installation, hence I don't know **** about the process obviously. This little excursion has basically taught me the whole process though lol. I do love the speakers, sound f'ing awesome in my tiny car. Paid $100 for a new sub speaker. Seriously though I need 5 HKS stickers to add some HP though.

with the skinny low roll resistance tires that come stock on those things, im not sure if you should all 5 hks stickers man, 2 might be more than enough

True enough though they aren't stock so maybe I can try 2.5 or 3. Once I get my supercharger though I'm just gonna fly it off into space.

You're right. It'd be irresponsible. With that much speed I might destroy the space time continuum... but maybe I could time travel to before I blew my sub... wait that's crazy talk. Or is it...

Quick, grab some flux capacitator stickers and slap them all over my car!

But seriously, I've added so much after market crap and I haven't even put ONE of the stickers on my car... no WONDER I'm so slow on the 1/4 mile.
