Unplugged sub, now sub + door speakers don't work

That's the plan. I'm putting my money that the door leads will work (with the test speaker), and if that's the case - what the hell happened to make 3 speakers die at once? It all happened when I did unplug the sub and shoved some rather big items in my car.. maybe something just hit something and make those things "pop" or it's something else. That's what's confusing me now with the home speaker test (if it works with the door leads). One friend looked at it and commented the amp was running "very hot" but I mean hell it's under a seat in a black car in 90 degree weather, so IDK. It has been 4 years... maybe the amp is frying?
if you hook up your test speaker to the amps full range channels and they work on the test speaker where it didnt on the door speaker, then you have an odd issue indeed!!

Yeah... if that's the case I'm thinking it's the amp or a higher power just wanted me to buy a new sub/door speakers. I'm just getting up so I'll get to work on the door (never personally taken it off in THIS car but it looks easy). I mean if I plug in the sub to my home entertainment and it's dead I think I could logically say that the door speakers are too but I will test them regardless.

I guess my question now is what's the life span on my amp, or what could happen to make 3 speakers pop at once from unplugging the sub. Sorry if I'm being repetitive, and thanks for your help. I mean **** the thing was ~400-500 (I can't remember) so it should last.

under normal conditions, it should last far longer than its current age IMO

Hooked ohm meter up to sub terminals and it's totally dead. Will do same thing with doors later.

Any one have a clue how 3 speakers may have popped at the same time?

under seat like that will shorten life span..
BS. Many people mount amps under seats. In fact, mine are mounted under the rear seat.

You have no clue what your talking about. As long as the amp(s) don't crowd an area, have adequiete ventilation and gain set properly, I don't see an issue.

i thought yougot a speaker to work on the sub channel tho
I did. The actual sub was dead (car sub) when I probed with the ohm meter (inside the sub's input spring clips). The test speaker worked fine using the sub speaker wire. Gonna pop off the door now and check those with same test speaker.

Correction: they were melted off. Both of em. Assuming something shorted and the same thing happened to wires inside sub. Wa-laa.

Melted off? That doesnt bode well. You should upgrade from those focals to the trained squirrels I got singing in my car
