Unplugged sub, now sub + door speakers don't work

So yesterday I unplugged my sub to take it out of the trunk to make some space for some things. Flash forward to today and I notice everything sounds weird. The sub isn't playing anything and neither are the door speakers. The only stock speakers are the rear seat ones, as the dash speakers and tweeters are aftermarket as well as the amp bla bla bla. Those all work.

So I made sure the sub was properly connected, went through every setting in the head unit, reset the head unit, traced the sub wire from the sub to the amp to make sure it didn't tear anywhere, checked every **** fuse in the car (under the wheel, in the engine, the amp's fuses) and everything checked out. The sub was NOT receiving any power when I checked with my multimeter, so... WTF MAN?

I have no idea where to go from here other than

1) check the door speakers

2) check the head unit

Somewhere there is a reason for no power getting to the door and sub.

Anyone smarter then me have an idea of what it could be? Literally all I did was unplug the sub, take it out of the trunk, and put it back in. I electric taped the leads when it was unplugged.

Head unit is Kenwood DNX691HD. Amp is Kenwood 10" downward with a +/- input. Amp is Kenwood Excelon XR 900-5. Speakers are RCA, sub is speaker wire.

Latest update, please try to ignore the trolling

I plugged my home stereo speaker into the sub leads. Worked 100%, all bass.

So what's up? Did I blow my sub and my door speakers? Everything else checked out. I'm assuming the same thing will happen if I do it with the door speakers, so basically I need 3 speakers now, great. Wondering if I can troubleshoot the sub itself or test it in any way? Perhaps just plug it into my TV where I got the other speaker from and see what happens? Lol.

Anyone have a clue why/how this may have happened? Would touching the sub leads together on accident somehow fry the door speakers or is it all coincidence / some other issue going on somewhere else? Have had the set-up nearly 4 years and have tried everything in the thread, and have just nailed that the speakers simply aren't working [hence swapping out the sub with another sub worked].

Disconnected somewhere. What's your audio? Almost sounds like sub and speakers run on the same amp.
Need more info.
Sub and speaker do run on the same amp. Sub is just a simple 10" downfacing sub with a +/- lead and I'm unsure of brands 4 years later. I traced the wire from the sub to the amp and all was cool. Like I said I haven't checked the head unit yet, but I just don't see it being a coincidence it not working the day after I unplugged it. Car is a tiny BRZ so I didn't a ton of stuff power wise. Was done at a shop after I bought the car so everything I know has been from tinkering with it yesterday, though I was/am an electrician and checked all fuses with a multimeter and sub cable was dead power wise.

Not sure why I sound unsure but if you think I sound unsure then I'm sure you're unsure.
Anyways, yes, any ideas?
Well when I see well uh yah, do it for a hobby/was sorta am but no not really.....sounds to me your unsure. So I dunno but whatever...

Check amp connections. see if speaker wire came undone. Or remote wire could have came loose. Need to know what amp your running....and if your running speaker leads or RCA's.

Oh btw, don't electrical tape leads....that's so 80's.

Never said that. Said I did it professionally and now I do it at home, the "uhh, for fun" was sarcasm since fixing broken **** at your house *****. Only mentioned to say I have electrical/wiring experience. I'll wire your house if you want but haven't done much car audio wise.

Amp connections were solid. Checked fuses on that too. The speakers are RCA's, the sub is a blue/white speaker lead. I'll go grab as much info as I can right now from looking.

Also IDK what to use other than electrical tape. Wire nut? **** if I know. It was just temporary until I put the sub back in, I didn't electrical tape anything together if that's what you menat.

So what the **** are you doing really? You have no clue and don't even know what your saying 1/2 the time. Did you forget what you said earlier??

doesn't exactly equal

Aha! Well I was professionally now I do it for uhh, fun, as a home owner.
in any way. I explained the bolded part was sarcasm.
I don't get why you're being so hostile over such an inconsequential issue. You misunderstood what I meant twice. I unplugged the leads from the sub to remove it from the car, and put electric tape over the leads so they didn't touch each other when they were unplugged from the sub. I just want help with my car audio which is why I'm here, not to argue semantics, like the electrician thing. Any other info you need or any other ideas? I listed the gear used. Everything came as a Kenwood "silver" package I believe which I purchased ~4 years ago and done at a shop as I was working too many hours (as an electrician) at the time to do it myself. I'm assuming since I fell for your proud "Hurtin' feelings errrday (aka trolling/baiting)" tag twice that you're done in this thread however. Otherwise please come back with some useful info. Thanks for your time.

Boomin_Tahoe is usually quite helpful for everyone he runs into on here, something just must have rubbed him wrong which can easily happen in forums. You should have seen how heated the guys on recording.org got when i asked a few questions about how to drop frequencies of audio on prerecorded music so it would bang harder in my car. They got completely unhinged at the mention of the purpose of why i wanted to do it, but were fine answering some questions before that info came to light. Im betting you two just got off on the wrong foot. Hes actually pretty cool

Anyways, it can only be a couple things really. Looks like you have a 5 channel amp, so i assume that you were running the door speakers off the 4 channels and the sub off the one. So, on the amp there is a red triangular light that glows when its on, is yours on when the radio turns on?

Any chance your leads touched and popped your amp? I assume no protect light is on on the amp?
I'm not denying that it could have happened. It's happened before but the only affect was that the sub was bouncing on and off (they got loose and were touching from the sub sliding around hence I had it velcro'd into place). I am not sure what a protect light on the amp is; though there is a little red light on the top of it. All fuses were good, all connections sturdy, fan was running, etc. Amp looked good to my untrained eye.
