Understanding Ohms and Amp channels.. HELP!

this.. it powers both equally through the one channel.. twist the positives together and shove them home

You might want to look else where besided bestbuy. I personaly dont like Kicker, and think you would be better off with the SA-8s in the classifieds here for $100 each, with an SAE-1000D.

but can anyone recommend a good single channel amp that at 1 ohm does atleast 300RMS?

You might want to look else where besided bestbuy. I personaly dont like Kicker, and think you would be better off with the SA-8s in the classifieds here for $100 each, with an SAE-1000D.

i agree go elsewhere besides best buy.. but everyone on here is on the sa sack. and for wehat hes looking for and not knowing anything about general wiring i would say it would come in hands to have warranty

All used Sundown stuff has a 1 year warranty. At least thats what he says over at SSA.

Doubt it covers blown coils, etc. Many companies have "misuse or abuse not covered". However, sometimes you can get some local shops to just give you a replacement.

Though it is undoubtedly better to pay less and not blow or break anything.

300rms wont' be enough you're gonna run 2 subs, so you'll need 300 each. you'll be lookin for a 600rms @1ohm. only thing with that is, i don't believe they make one that small. smallest one you'll find is 1000rms @1ohm. (may be wrong with that) why are you getting kicker? if you're stuck on kicker, why are you wanting subs that are only 300rms?
