How about downsizing quantity / big subwoofers for something smaller so you can fit a better enclosure?

Tbh, I really don't care where a sub is made, as long as it performs and isn't too terribly overpriced. Not afraid to pay a pretty penny for the best though

I've seen what they can take. So I don't really care who made/makes them.

I don't care. That's funny though. Atomic was the go in the late 90s. I had a 10 but can't remember much about it.

That thread is from 2006. But I've own a apxx 18 and wasn't impressed with is at all. So far my favorite subs are crossfire xs v2 and thes nsv3 are pretty darn nasty!
