Didn't want to post this yet, because I'm going to make a log for my 4 runs of 1/0. However, it might be beneficial, so here you go.

that looks great, but how do you seal it off when you get it to the holes you drilled..... grommet I assume..

I really haven't looked under the dash, but I dont know where to start looking.

-any suggestion?

they make lil clips to hold the 1/0 that can be screwed to ur frame. Worked great for me

Auto parts stores should have them locally, maybe even Home Depot.

Could also run it inside the frame as that's what I've always done for race cars with the battery in back...

i tried this, figured it really couldnt hurt to wire it inside the car and thats what i did. power to you, this is more difficult than it works, especially with welding wire.

in EXTREEME conditions, get me EXTREEME, if the wire were to break or get cut or something, wouldn't the copper(any metal really) provide an excellent way of shorting it out. If properly fused ofcourse, this shouldn't pose a problem. Thats why I suggested rubber hose, or plastic conduit.

I appreciate all the input, I loike these ideas and tips....

That is one reason I used the plastic conduit, even though it was more expensive than the metal.

3/4" is what you need. If you're having problems getting the wire through then put soap on it, this will save you a lot of time from fighting it

u can get the clips off of ebay, thats where i got mine
