I drilled the sub holes with a drill bit for the screw holes. Then right after i equipped my sub with all the screws on the subs. That day i have not yet put on my carpet. I just wanted to see how nice my box + subs look at that moment. So then today is the day that i want to carpet my sub, so i remove my sub. Noticing that one of the screw holes is open now and some of them are splitting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

I do not have that much time to create a new box.. so i was wondering what are my options? thanks much..

eh well dont build a new box just for that. maybe you can rotate the sub a lil or just dont worry about it. thats how the baffles on my kicks are hehe.

btw... we have the same bday

like flakko said, rotate the sub a tiny bit

you could also throw another baffle on the front, making the front 1.5" thick and cutting a new hole. then youd have fresh wood to screw it into.

You could also fill those holes with some fiberglass and re-drill new holes.
