power acoustik a1800db, jl audio 1000/1, pg xenon 1200.1 list goes on and on anything that puts out 1000-1200 at 2 ohms.

I dont know enough right now to decide my what budget is. Obviously if my budget is $200 and a $200 amp doesnt put out enough power or i can get an amp that sounds a whole lot better for more..my budget would change.

so instead of asking the budget..It would actually help to list a few amps in different price ranges that would work out..and maybe even tell me the differences

im thinking it depends more on that i listen to all types of music and i do not need tons of bass..just SQ

Since there is a nice list of amps..Which ones would be a good value?

If any the cost more than other, what are the main differences?

the jl and the xenon are switching amps meaning they put out the same power at 4 ohms as they do at 2 ohms. the jl is quite pricey and not worth the extra money IN MY OPINION although jl is top quality IN MY OPINION. out of the three i listed above i beleive the power acoustik to be best for the dollar. i'm pretty sure it can be found for under $200. the xenon's run about $400 on ebay and the jl's range from $550 to $1000 depending on where you get it.

Rockford Fosgate P5002 would power it nicely since I use it for my 12" Type-X

The power acoustik is a good quality amp, whether i go with the type-x or a different sub?

modded mtx1501d....more then enough power..i think there are a few in the fs section...around $250-300 i think

I run the Alpine MRD-M1000 to my 12" type-x sub. I am running it in a sealed 1" MDF box in a Dodge Durango. It sounds incredible, and has hit 136.9 db.
