Does anyone on this board know if Alpine is going to reintroduce the Type X line of subs and speakers? Their website lists them as discontinued. I find it hard to believe that they would do away with their high end components and subs. Any information would be appreciated.

i know they are not going to come out with a type r anytime soon even though they came out with a version almost every year for the past idk how many years. but i dont think they are touching the type x

the type X component speakers of alpine were made in a build house that makes very high end stuff, Not sure if alpine will put up the money to outsource again, if they are using their inhouse production, dont expect it to be as great as the previous version.
