It came back to me in perfect condition. I had it built with direct connect leads and a high roll surround. Just as Corey said, it is a great SQL driver and I throw about 1000-1200 rms on it daily (ED NINe.1) @ 1ohm. I have it inverted in my 93 Ranger Splash in a box that is around 1.8 tuned to 29hz I believe.

It will vary depending on what you have done. I've had him build 2 subs for me though and they were both cheaper than buying a comparable sub from any big company. Shoot, the type X was cheaper than buying a weaker sub from any big company. He can give you options like Direct Connect leads or Push Terminals, High roll, Wide roll, and normal surrounds, different spider combinations, etc. Just tell him what music you listen to and what how you want the sub to play (SPL, SQL, SQ) and he can build it to your liking. I opted for the High Roll surround because I thought they look sexy but I also love the wide roll surrounds that you find on the older TC/Eclipse Subs. he also has different cones you can choose from.
