type R's or american bass

i have two 12" alpine type R subs i was thinking about tradeing them for 2 12" XD american bass subs or 2 15" dx american bass subs? what would be louder or sound best in a small sedan? i have an american bass 1000dx amp

I have ran some American Bass subs (VL124s) and a HC502 and I was pleased with the output of the amp (cheater amp) and the subs wanged pretty good with 400 a piece to them.

I have type R's and like them alot, i get really good bass out of them. But I have also never heard of american bass either so i couldn't tell you abouht them
