why two amps might i ask? i'm no scientist, but i would think it's easier to run one that has the amount of power you want distributed among the two. Not knocking you by any means, just curious.

Ok, EIther drop 425 on Two 12" type R's With two Alpine M650s, soo, 600w RMS to each Type R, in a ported box.
OR

drop 500 on One 15" Kicker L7 w/ a ZX1000 going to it in a huge ported box

L7s perform better in Smaller enclosures but 2 12s more cone area.
