How many watts can a 12" Type R in 2.3 cubes @ 32 hz handle daily? I have an orion hcca-2400 thats ready to dish out 1200 watts @ 1 ohm. Will it handle it all???

But seriously ... they probably get louder than the SSDs, but the SQ doesnt compare.haha really ok
They are rated so highly because they can take a sh!t load of power, cheaper than most subs in it's class, and they sound decent doing the job...Do type r's get loud honestly, why are the type R's rated so highly? How do they compare to Fi SSD's or Kicker l7's?
Oh, really they get louder then ssd's snap im going to consider buying them then. For the price they seem like a steal. Will they get really loud and 'turn peoples heads' yes I will custom build the box!But seriously ... they probably get louder than the SSDs, but the SQ doesnt compare.
Yea i was checking out those threads, it seems the type r's are pretty good budget subs, im starting to lean towards buying them. Im not sure if they will turn heads though.L7s and Rs have been battling it out forever....... there is no answer. It all depends on the box and the amount of power being used, as well as the electrical system.. Do a search, there has been numerous questions about Rs vs L7s......
as far as SSDs, not much about them
