Type R or SE 15's....better sql sub??

Which of these 2 subs would get louder and sound better ported? Pretty much which is the better overall sub? Thanks

Yea ive heard it was a great sub but ive never heard the new ones in person.....if i got them would the alpine amp that does 1000 @ 2 ohms power then nicely in a ported box??

well nvm i might jus go ahead and get 12's to save space....i want a huge increase in spl from my old 12" se's in my eclipse...this setup will be in a 2 door explorer but will b ported. the old se's were in .85 after dis. sealed. I just wanna make sure the type r's will be louder because the explorer is a bigger vehicle. Any opinions on if yall think it would b alot louder?

type Rs will wang man. i prefer the SEs sealed. not a good sub 2 use if ya goin ported imo. but there are awesome sealed.

yeah ive heard they will wang...but will i hear a huge upgrade from my se's sealed with the type r's ported in a lorger vehicle?

huge? i dunno... noticeable? YES... the type r's ported should be quite loud
