type r or 10w6v2?

I'm currently looking for a single 10" sub for my vented box that a friend just gave me thats 1.10 cu ft. So my 2 sub choices that i finally came down to is the alpine type r dual 4 ohm or the jl 10w6v2. I was only looking for spl but since i have no rear speakers in my car i want both SQ and SPL. out of these to subs, which one would you guys go with. oh yea the sub would be powered by a rockford fosgate 500bd mono amp.

i was definantly going towards jl but after going to a local car audio store and finding out that they had the alpine 10" dual 4 ohm type r on sale for $75.00 i decided to go with it. I was thinking since i found this 10" type r for cheap i might as well try it out and see if i like it. if not i can always sell it and get me the jl's.

i owned a 12w6v2 and my good friend owns a 12" type r. the w6 blows it away. the type r might be a little more accurate, but the w6 isn't far behind and produces much more punch. i regret ever selling my w6v2's.

EDIT: i just realized i was a tad late with this post. you should be happy with the type r also.
