Help With My 8 Inches!!

I am in the stages of finishing off my system and need a single 8" sub for my application. I am currently running a JBL 755.6 6 channel amp and will be bridging channels 5 and 6 to the sub for 300 watts RMS 4 ohm. Do to the mounting depth of my box I am somewhat limited to the sub that is available to me ( no soundspinter //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )

Focal 21v2 is a fit- hear good things about them 200-400 watts nom.

Elemental Designs 9Kv2- good price but says it only takes 150 RMS

AVI SL-200- havent heard much about these but they are Canadian

Diamond D38- again cant find any right up on these

Image Dynamics ID8D2- hear good things about these as well

If anyone has any experience with these or can offer some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated. Again I have 2 channels available from my amp, 5" mounting depth, and .35 cu.ft of airspace. I dont know whether SVC or DVC is better for me either.

I believe they still do...but if you remember the great 8 challenge a while back, I beleive it was teh suxor compared to the rest....WEAK ouput....but decent SQ

Ya, I'm crushed about the SS too. It's a custom box (QLogic) to fit a Dakota under the rear fold down seats and only gives me 5" depth, the SS is 5.65"!

There's a big ID sale on at CarDomain right now too, unfortunately the 8" is not available.

is it possible to raise the sub a bit from the box and still be unobstructed?? if so just add the required thickness and get the ss, other than that idk??

Thanks for the reply but I had already received an email yesterday quoting the sl-200 at $299.99. Regardless, even at $299, this woofer is double the price and in your case $250 more than a SoundSplinter Rli-8.

AVI must make an incredible subwoofer, but close to $500.00 after tax/shipping is a little extreme for a single 8" speaker. I would have preffered to buy Canadian, but I feel that your prices are not very competitive.
