the l7 would be louder hands down, if both of the installations are done right.

the L7, would be my choice in this matter, both are going to be great for daily applications, but I prefer the kicker personally, I am just tired of people ripping on the L7 it is a great sub fo rthe money IMO

Yea they are a great sub for the price, and with the right amount of space, they can have pretty good sound quality from what ive heard, but it takes a rather large box, something like 4+ cubes for good sound quality. But the 12" l7 can be had on etronics for something like about 150 I think it is. Plus they get rediculously loud.
