a buddy of mine has a 2000 honda civic coupe, he wants a good sounding 10" or pair of 10s. He is buying new sub, subs and amp. He is not trying to blow windows out or anything, and he listens to mostly rock music. Would 1 or 2 type r 10's, or re audio sr10s, or 1 RE SE 10? any other suggestions appreciated. thanks

I've got a directed studio 10" and a directed 250d that i'd be willing to let go of. It came out of my civic, and it sounded pretty good, it just wasnt loud enough for my needs. Let me know if interested.

type r is rubbish for sq... period

type x is better

desertheat is selling idq 10's for under 100 each. i doubt you'll find a better deal.

oh well, he bought a 12" type r. Going to use moes plan 2.5 cubes tuned to 32:

I thought he didnt want it that loud? I just got done putting an MRD-M605(600x1 RMS) with a single 12 Type R with TCAB into a 2000 Civic and that customer **** near crapped his pants, it was obnoxiously loud and was down right mean....Have fun tho, I would tune it a little lower personally...
