i am going off of what mark has said.
1 15 takes less power than 2 12's for daily driving.

if you give 1 15" its rms of 500 watts and the 2 12"w their rms of 500 watts each, unless you realy **** up the install the 12's will be louder.

3.1415*6^2 * 2 = 355.28*2 =

710.56" of cone area.

Which do you think will probably be louder for a given input?

I've seen the trash model pioneer, pyles and other trash models hit 150 so type R hitting 150 isnt enough to make me go buy one.

Single 15=

7.5x7.5=56.25

56.25 x 3.14=176.625

Pair of 12's=

6 x 6= 36

36 x 3.14=113.04

113.04 x 2 (for 2 subs)=226.08

i dont know the whole meca thing but i know dbdrag and Usaci ive seen multiple vehicles with shitty equipment get unespected scores.

theres nothing to prove really, i dont and never will own a type R
