type R help quick!!!

ok so i messed with everything for a while i think i have the amp set right but...i discovered that the end of the(amps input) RCA was reading 1.1v - 1.2v-was the highest it was...i have a 2 volt output from my deck... is the rca i have is causing it to loose voltage? i dont think thats how it should be right it should read 2.0v at the end of the 17' rca...?

Your headunit won't make that voltage tell max volume or close to max, so if you have it at 3/4 you won't be making the full 2v, only 1.5 or so. So that sounds about right.

so what would be the point spending 30-60 $ on better rca's

why does my kicker CVR 500rms, sound WAY!! louder then my TYPE R 750rms....with the cvr gian is all the way down. and the type r is almost half way up dmm set 2ohm 1000 watts -3bd
