No way is that sub getting 1000 watts rms. I bet your birthsheet for that amp says somewhere around ~625rms @ 14.4v. Sooo...not sure about how much that sub is getting. Don't see it moving a whole lot either (relative to other type rs I've seen), so that's another indicator.

Yes way is that sub getting about 1000wrms. My birthsheet said 999rms @1ohm... is a RF power amp.. they are WAY under rated.. Most everyone knows this. And It moves... Alot. I havent ever seen a t5001bd that puts out under 900wrms @ 1ohm.....

her you go bud. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/amp_power_output.asp The t5001bd is not listed but most of the other power amps are.... Look at how the t5002bd is way under rated puts out over TWICE what it is rated at. In the 06 RF lit. The average for the t5001bd is 927rms @ 1 ohm.

Alright. Yes it does lack sq. I have a w7 as well.. it sounds quite a bit nicer. Anyone interested in sub and box? They are for sale.
