Type R 15s

Im thinking of running 2 type R 15's. I was wondering if I could use a sealed box. Yes or No, y or y not? thanks

sealed box is fine. ported has more output, but i personally like the sound of a sealed box. what do you want more of SQ or SPL. i think that two 15"s will have enough output, but just out of curiousity, what do you like to listen to and again, what do you want out of your system? also, what kind of vehicle is this going in?

Well I want to have a little bit of both, SQ and SPL. I listen to Rap!! only. And it is going in a Mitsubishi Eclipse Hatchback.

then you probably only have enough room for a sealed enclosure with that kind of bass setup.

no... actually if tyou rip out the back seats, you could do 2 15's ported...

IMO a ported box is better for rap. If you listen to rap and nothing else, then you should go with a ported box. They require much more space though.

i like the way this guys thinks,IMO the backseats of eclipse ****, take it out and have one loud asss system.

PS:i own an eclipse, makes a big difference

same with my truck, but it just isnt practical. no storage in the hatch or back seat. doesnt make good sense.
