I am going to order to day and I am not shure on withc one to get I have herd good thing about both of them I have about 2.5cf to use in my mustang and I have 1000 wats I am loking for a sql sub and I have $130 to spind on a sub and this are the top two that I had found so withc one will be beter I like rap and rock

well i have some bad news, today i ran my type R for about 4 hours real hard and my car started to stink terrible.

its running off a bxi 1206d @ 1ohm

thats your voice coils getting hot. my mtx's used to do that all the time but now i got re 8's and they never get hot.

i really liked my old 3002. especially for the price. very good quality, and awesome sound. I put a review in the review section awhile back, check it out.

did i mention the SQ was quite good aswell? more geared toward rap than rock IMO but that was completely box related.

id put it in around 1.8-2.0@30Hz should be an awesome box for that sucker.

give it around 700-900watts and wang away

ok so the TS-W3002SPL it is but I seen (2) PIONEER TS-W306DVC on ebay taht coust less shuld I get the TS-W3002SPL and port it with 1000 wats or the par of TS-W306DVC with 500 wats each ported in a 3 cf box taht is the bigiest I can fit

I have heard both... nut i have played only with the 3002spl... both are great sql subs... but i would go with the premier.
