Hey guys I have two alpine type r subs(2010 models) with two alpine pdx-m6 amps(2010 models). I am going to build a fiberglass enclosure for these and was curious as to what size the boxes should be. The manual says .9ft per sub but I was just curious as to what you guys thought.

The alpine amps are rated at 600 rms each but I have heard the do a little more than that.

Thanks

David

do like they say. or you could go to 1.25cubes per sub and port them 32hz . The question is, "what are you wanting to gain from this setup" What do you listen too?

I listen to everything. I like loud bass with some SQ but will be going with a sealed box this time due to space constraints. I was just wanting to make sure that the .9 for a sealed will be good.

If you want something weather resistant, get a marine amplifier.
