TYPE R 12... 4 layer or 8 layer VC

I know it may not matter that much. Just curious. I notice for a 2 inch coil the thing takes a beating. Now I know there are other factors such as cooling. But I have heard from people that have seen the coil it is a beefy 2 inch. So wondered if it was a 4 layer or 8... Just curious thanks
