TYPE R 10" 2ohm + 2ohm question

hey all super quick question for all you experts out there. if i have to 10'' alpine type R 2ohm by 2ohm and i have a kicker kx 1200.1 would this work out.

basicaly i want to know if it can be done hooking up 2 subs to a mono amp and how to do it.

and o before i forget would this sound good and i assume the amp can out put enough watt for both subs right?

well, assuming that you are going to use 2 dual 2ohm R's you can wire them up at a 2 ohm load:

just scroll down a little and you will see the one where you wire it to 2 ohms

you wont be able to run that amp down to a .50ohm load and the 8 ohm load is way to low.

at the 2ohm load that amp is rated at 1500rms so that would put 750rms to each one. it would sound pretty nice in a proper box.
