Ok i made a dual 10" sub box and im trying to find some carpet for it, but i dont know what type of stuff to buy. can someone tell me what type of stuff to use.

thanks i will post pics of it when i develope the pictures, it has plexiglass on the back, its not to shabby for my 2nd box i've made.

For my box I used the automotive carpet they sell at wall-mart. I think I only used about one roll, maybe 2, but if I remember they were only about $7 a piece. Plus you will need to buy some of that 3M spray adhesive that is like $10 a can. Makes laying the carpet down real easy as opposed to any other glue.

if you want to see pictures of what I did, they are at http://www.cardomain.com/id/shockersregal

i just did mine a few days ago with 2 friends. it's pretty easy, just take your time and plan how u will do it ahead of time.

1. spray wood AND carpet

2. let the adhesive tack for 1-3 minutes (should say on can)

3. do one side at a time

4. keep it tight and nice, i used a wallpaper roller on each side to make sure it was flat.

5. and i just cut 2 end pieces, cuz i didn't want 45degree cuts going to middle.

you can barely see it cuz my carpet blends

yesturday i put the carpet on my box. I didnt even get to this post before i put it on. But as turns out it looks great. I even purchased some kicker grills for my subs. looks really good.
