mehh....they're ok. not the best to be sure. you're being a little hard on a 100$ sub though.

Dunno even for $100, it shouldn't be that fawking in-accurate. I can get a cheap shit sub to be more consistant than an argh.

they are sloppy and muddy, but it does get loud ported. i liked my stereo integrity bm better, louder and better SQ. the design and price was the reason why i bought the type r.

R's are good subs for the average hobbiest. If they sounded muddy or sloppy to someone, it was probably because of shitty install.
