Two strapped 20.1's at .5 ohm?

If you want to run one 20.1 low you need a solid electrical system...

BUT, two that low you need to be looking at some serious amperage!!! Before you even think about doing it you should make SURE you have the electrical to do it!

It was just an idea I was throwing around. I think I'll just stick with one 20.1.

I've got 4 yellow tops install, but I don't want to touch the alternator until the truck is out of warranty.

To be honest, 95% of the time I listen at a pretty low volume, I actually don't even listen to rap. I just want things to get a little crazy during that other 5% though.

mine is stock. Kinetik 1800 under the hood, 2400 in the back.

lol @ this thread...I JUST.
Ran a pair of 20.1s Strapped @ .35 ohms (each amp seeing .175 ohms)

on a 250 mile road trip...Beating on them the whole way. Of course I have a pretty ballsy electrical system. But still...If you have the electrical backup...they will take it.

I just aimed my AC vents at the amps, and they stayed pretty cool the whole trip.
Also wondering what a ballsy electrical consists of. Thanks.

I would say at least a 200 amp alternator, at least 2 but should probably have 4 g31s in the back and a good battery up front. At least 2 runs of 0 ga (each + and -).

That should be sufficient but a lot also depends on listening habits and box rise and other factors.

im gonna try it on stock alt and 5 extra batts
I actually have run 2 40.1s with the 1 Kinetik 1800 under the hood and 1 2400 in the back with STOCK alty. The 20's like .35 or higher each though. Current draw becomes a fiend lower than that. (oh look, I used the correct THEN or THAN!!)
