two questions

ok, i got a ford taures 94, im pretty sure it has a 130 stock alt. do you think it will be enough to power a brutus bx1500d and like a little alpine 50x2 amp if i jsut do the magic 3 upgrade???

My other question is i can't afford the speaker amp right now but i dont want to redo my wiring, so would it hurt anything if i ran 0/1 gauge to my trunk and put a fused distrubuter block on it to break it into two 4ga wires but only used one of them for the time being to power my sub amp? and just leave the other 4 ga socket open? thanks

#1: Hard to say. May be fine, may not. Best thing to do is hook it up and see how your electrical system handles it.

that's pretty big...considering the 4.9L inline 6 that's in my van came with a 135A unit.

As far as your original question goes, I think you'll be fine.

LoL, now that the factories are putting out minivans with three lcd's, dvd players, and 15 12volt sockets for every accesory some people cant leave at home.... we're seeing more and more stock vehicles roll out with beefier alts. the trailblazer comes with a nice 150 amp alt, I'm hoping i wont have to upgrade more then the big 3 on this 'truck.'
