you can always do 4 alpine type R or type S 10s if thats cheaper.

Hah yeah iknow its wild, almost cheaper to buy streat from down4sound and pay taxes (they ship to norway if u pre pay taxes) comes down to just about the same price but looong delivery time i would belive

shipping costs and custom fees. You gotta remember that partsexpress is US based. There will be international shipping and custom fees and tax that will fk up the entire budget. those daytons will be way more expensive then you can ever imagine.

Cheapest way would be to get a mainstream sub thats easily accessible that does okay.

Yeah but u would need much bigger box wont u? of course 4 (4!) will kill any single 15, just not as easy and conviniant

5 cubes is big enough..

four 10s work fine in your 5 cube box. each 10 only needs about 1.25 cubes, with the type R 10s you only need about 1.1 cube per.

Oh i see, still love the idea with the two hdc3 15s haha, when i had just two of the CV 15s it was good and with good response, heard 17hz for the first time and stuff, btw the subs will be inverted, so this is a 5cf box with port/woofer displacement

when we say cubic feet we really mean usuable airspace thats after you subtract port, sub, bracing and extra baffle displacements. Just the airspace alone. You SEVERELY i mean SEVERLY underestimate the amount of airspace subs need to actually perform. If you only had 5 cubic feet before subtracting port and sub displacements, we would have only recommended two 12s or 3 10s. Thats legit how little amount of airspace you have.

There's a famous saying in the whole car audio world. There is no replacement for displacement. Space makes bass, if you cant get that through your head, this whole ordeal will be a complete lost cause.

you rob a sub of its airspace and port area, you will literally only get 25% of what it can do because its struggling to breathe. Might as well just throw money into the fireplace.

i see, the box is 5cf after* port and woofer displacement, i said 6cf might be a chance if i run the flares outside the box, but the batteries and amp have to have there spaces. it is a nissan leaf so not much space indeed.
