Okay guys, I ordered TWO infinity kappa perfect 12.1 from onlinecarstereo at exactly the same time and the exactly the same order.
They came in exactly the same boxes but one of the design had a "plexy-glass" o-ring while the other has a "rubber' surround o-ring.
a picture can be seen here:
the left sub is rubber, the right sub is plexy glass. i just didn't take out the liner yet. But i did take it out now and it solved nothing.
The problem now is I noticed that the "plexy-glass" o-ring infinity perfect continues to hit small signals after it hits a large beat while the one with the "rubber" o-ring hits the large beat, and then recovers and shows no signs of after hitting......
i can't explain but here's what i mean:
Assume that XXX = large beat x = small beat
music current flowing - >>>>
Rubber surround subwoofer: XXX XXX XXX
Plexy-glass subwoofer: XXX x x x XXX xxx XXXX
as you can see, the plexy glass subwoofer continues to hit little tiny signals while the rubber recovers and stops and waits for the next beat.
Anyone care to explain why?
