two 12's ported or two 15's sealed

Like the title...

I have around 4.5 ft^3, and 2000 watts at 1 ohm. What array will be tighter, lower, and louder?

P.S. I'm open to driver suggestions as well...

The sealed will play significantly lower and it will also be tighter. Louder will depend on your box building skills.

tight has nothing to do with size as long as you buy a quality driver

Understood, thank you. So how about low end extension... Take an RL-p 12 ported against an RL-p 15 sealed, both in optimum boxes... Will the 15 still roll off too much to be loud at 30 hz (just pulled it out of the air)?

I personally like the sound of sealed so i would take the 2 15's sealed but thats just my opinion. It all depends on what you like. The two twelves would have the advantage for loudness being ported.

go 15's sealed, i had the same choice and with the subs i own (SI Mags) two 15's was the better choice

2 15s sealed with 2kwrms is plenty loud enough for just blasting music. Although I have zero experience with any of those subs you are considering.
