Ok, a friend of mine needs a sub quick. I can think of the top of my head right now. He has and MTX6500D which puts out 775watts@2ohms. he wants something thats gonna get loud for that wattage. The only thing i thought of was a 12" L7. Any other suggestions? Ill let him know, thanks...

What box size is he willing to fit? Kickers are NOT small box subs(unless you want them really peaky, i.e. not musical).

Depends on what you consider loud. Daily driver, moderate power (500-1000w) if your hitting in the upper 130's to mid 140's and over... that's pretty loud to me.

That's what I was hitting with W3's and that was loud enough for me. IDQ's can get like that.
